Meet Our Animal Ambassadors
At Amazing Animals, every animal in our care has a story—and a purpose. Our residents come from three primary pathways, each rooted in conservation, education, and compassion.
Many of our animals are non-releasable wildlife that have been rescued and rehabilitated by licensed wildlife rehabilitation centers across Florida. Due to injury, illness, or human imprinting, these animals can no longer survive in the wild. At our preserve, they are given a permanent, enriching home where they serve as powerful ambassadors to educate the public about native wildlife and conservation.
We also care for exotic pets that owners can no longer properly keep. As animals grow or their needs become more complex, some private owners find themselves unable to provide appropriate housing or care. Rather than these animals ending up in unsafe or neglectful situations, we step in to provide them with a safe, professional, and enriching environment.
Finally, we work closely with other accredited zoological facilities through cooperative conservation breeding and management programs. These partnerships help ensure genetically healthy populations, support species survival, and promote responsible animal management within the zoological community.
Together, these three pathways allow us to provide exceptional care while inspiring our guests to connect with wildlife and become part of the conservation story.
